Dr. Levin is a board certified Dermatologist who joined Northwest Dermatology Group in 2004. After growing up in the Detroit metro area, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Michigan in 1996 before graduating from Wayne State University Medical School in 2000. She completed her internship at William Beaumont Hospital and went on to receive her Dermatology training at Henry Ford Hospital.
Dr. Levin is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital, Providence Hospital, and the Detroit Medical Center, where she participates in clinics instructing resident physicians. In addition to her clinical dermatology practice, Dr. Levin has a particular interest in Dermatologic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology.

Dr. Ross Brothers is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon who joined Northwest Dermatology Group in 2018. He was born and raised in the metro Detroit area. He earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 2008 and graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2014.
Dr. Brothers is a clinical professor at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine and provides dermatology education to medical students at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He specializes in clinical and surgical dermatology, with interests in Mohs surgery, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, skin cancer, and the cutaneous findings of systemic disease.
Outside the office, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with his wife and their three boys. He can often be found on local mountain bike trails in the summer or on ski hills in the winter. While he may not be as good at skiing as his brother, he is a better homebrewer.

Dr. Ryan Brothers was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He attended Oakland University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology. Prior to medical school, he worked in multiple level-1 trauma emergency rooms in Detroit conducting research on new technologies.
Dr. Ryan earned his medical degree at Michigan State University and completed his dermatology residency at Aspen/OPTI-West Hospital Program in Utah, where he served as chief resident and trained extensively in general dermatologic surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Ryan enjoys being outdoors camping, skiing, biking, competing in races, and anything else that involves crashing down a mountain. He and his brother, Dr. Ross, are also avid brewers. Dr. Ryan married his wonderful wife on a cliff in Moab, Utah in 2020 and they have a beautiful son.

Julia McAree was born and raised in Metro Detroit. She attended University of Detroit Mercy, graduating with a bachelor in biology and masters in Physician Assistant studies. Throughout PA school, Julia participated in operating a mobile healthcare clinic providing free health screenings around Detroit.
She has a background in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Urgent Care. She has a passion for Dermatology, seeing visible results in healing skin being so rewarding. She also worked for several years in nursing homes and especially enjoys geriatric care.
She enjoys spending time with family, baking new recipes, and playing hockey in her spare time. She is honored to be a member of the Northwest Dermatology family!
